In celebration of Mother’s Day, the Lemita Brooks Memorial Scholarship Fund is being gifted to Morehouse College on behalf of Rico Brooks (‘95).
“In honor of my mother Lemita Brooks, I have set-up a scholarship to support Morehouse College students. A deserving student will receive funds annually to pursue their academic dreams.”

“Lemita Brooks dedicated her life to her family, service to her country, and giving back to her community. She was fond of nature, including a passion for flowers, plants and animals. While she took great pride in preserving her environment, it was her devotion to caring for other people that brought her great pleasure. In honor of her life and service, her only son, Rico Brooks has dedicated a scholarship in her name.”
